Stainless Steel

Stainless steel wire mesh is the workhorse of industrial screening and filtration. We supply woven and welded mesh in grades 304, 304L, 316, and 316L, with aperture, wire diameter, and weave pattern selected to match the chemistry, temperature, and mechanical load of the service.

Grade 304 covers most food, architectural, and general industrial duty. Where chloride exposure, marine atmospheres, or aggressive chemicals are present, 316 and 316L deliver the additional corrosion margin, and where the application involves welding or post-form stress relief, the low-carbon L variants minimize sensitization.

Apertures range from a few microns (for filter discs and test sieves) up to several inches (for architectural panels and machine guards). Welded mesh is preferred where rigidity and panel-flatness matter; woven mesh is the default for accurate screening, sifting, and retention.
