Aluminum mesh is chosen for its low weight, natural corrosion resistance, and clean appearance. It is widely used in architectural facades, ceiling panels, ventilation grilles, equipment enclosures, and RF and EMI shielding where weight or non-sparking properties matter.
Common alloys are 5052 and 5056 (magnesium-bearing, with good strength and marine corrosion resistance) and 1100 and 3003 (commercially pure, formable, for decorative and shielding duty). The mesh can be supplied as plain mill finish, anodized, or powder-coated to match a facade or interior palette.
Aluminum mesh is non-sparking and non-magnetic, which makes it a strong choice for hazardous-area enclosures and for use around sensitive electronics. Send the panel size, alloy preference, and any finish requirement and we will return a sample and a price.
