Product Introduction

Stainless steel welded wire mesh is made by joining longitudinal and transverse stainless wires at their intersections. The welded grid holds its pattern during cutting and fabrication and can be supplied in rolls or panels according to wire size and geometry. It is used for equipment guards, cages, screening and compatible protective components. Stainless grade, weld quality, wire diameter and opening dimensions are selected for the application. Define whether the stated mesh dimension is center-to-center spacing or the clear opening.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does welded mesh differ from woven mesh?

Welded mesh joins crossing wires, while woven mesh interlaces them. Grid stability, flexibility and fabrication behavior differ.

Is stainless hardware cloth automatically a rated safety guard?

The mesh is a component. Guard opening, distance, frame, fixings and impact or load requirements must be addressed in the complete design.

Does mesh count alone define the opening?

No. Wire diameter and weave geometry also determine the passage size and open area. Specify the actual opening or required retention together with the construction.

Can rolls be supplied as cut pieces?

Specify finished width and length, cutting method, edge condition, tolerances and packing. Dimensions and handling protection are agreed for the selected mesh.

What information is needed for a quotation?

For stainless steel welded wire mesh, provide the material grade, weave, mesh count or opening, wire diameter, roll or piece dimensions, quantity and any inspection or traceability requirements.
